About IOTA and Brian Chong:

Amidst a nationwide craze of over-priced and uninspired “coffee drinks” from small, crowded and trendy cafès, comes a truly unique coffee experience. Iota boasts top of the line roasting equipment (15 kilo Renegade Roaster) handled by true barista masters, all housed within a massive expanse of beautiful architectural features. Single-origin coffee is brewed in fresh batches around the clock to ensure no one suffers that dreadful end-of-pot taste. Iota will also introduce a numbering system that will correspond with specific flavor characteristics providing each customer the opportunity to create a personally customized beverage.

The only thing that could elevate the sumptuous aroma of this roasting facility is an in-house bakery… and Iota does not disappoint. Follow your nose and you will find all of your favorite made-from-scratch treats (baked in-house) to accompany your coffee, espresso or tea. If you are looking for something more substantial to fill you up before enjoying your afternoon perk, try the brick oven pizzas or sandwiches prepared on fresh baked Korean breads.

Want to learn the art of the bean from a coffee savvy expert or become a master of the hand-drip technique? Or maybe participate in a traditional Korean tea ceremony? All of these options are being offered at Iota and several others will be introduced soon. If you prefer to be more hands-off, feel free to sit back and view the classes being held in the glass rooms above the main café. For those who wish to add fresh air to their custom concoction, you can cozy up next to one of the fire pits out back or lounge on the front patio to chat, read or just people-watch.

Sip, dine and enjoy yourself all while feasting your eyes on the incredible floor to ceiling design that makes Iota such a gem. The eye-catching architecture, visual enhancements and exciting energy within Iota truly represent owner Brian Chong’s desire to introduce Los Angeles to a newer, and more modern Korean culture. Chong hopes that patrons will recognize immediately that this is not your average corner coffee shop. Thanks to Brian’s vision and determination, his journey to mainstream all that is fresh and exciting about Korean culture has been manifested in Iota.

Brian’s passion for Coffee Culture, however, is not his only means of delighting taste buds here in L.A. Moodaepo II, Moodaepo Fullerton and Haus are already creating a stir in both the Korean and non-Korean circles. Do yourself a favor and invite your friends to share in a culturally unique and delicious experience.
